When It Rains, It Pours.

Harry Santos and I went on an adventure trip around Laguna today. First stop was Liliw. We tried out the pastas in Arabela (pretty cheap and really good!). The place is well cozy and the service is quite alright. Quaint, warm (not so when it starts raining cats and dogs outside, though), and a place to chill out.

We looked around for cheap sandals. We didn’t find any good ones, though, since they all looked the same and I kind of question the comfortability. If you do plan to scout around Liliw, I suggest Badongs. It is probably the best store there is around that location.

We checked out the church afterwards. Unfortunately, it was closed when we got there.

Next was Nagcarlan! Awesome awesome underground cemetery! If only the weather was accommodating, we would’ve went to San Pablo for the seven lakes, but anyway, the underground cemetery holds this ancient, scary vibe when you visit. It’s as if the dead are talking to you when you’re down there. The cold rushes through you and when you look around at the crypts, it’s as if you’re in a horror movie. It’s a really good place to visit. Watch out for the stairs, though. You might slip. Oh, and flash photography is not allowed. Might be a little hard to take photos there because it’s bloody dark.

Last stop was Los Banos. SUPER CHEAP FOOD! I suggest going to LB Square for cheap meal finds. Their sets consist of Buffalo Wings with rice that only costs 50php! How awesome is that? But try out the proven near Letran or the isaws near the White House. Going to Los Banos for a food trip is worth it.

Well anyway, today has been an absolutely amazing experience. Keen for another trip soon!

Some photos are HERE.

    Underground Cemetery?

    F**k yeah!

Yeah, I just had to say that.

  2. What is the food you are about to eat? It looks good like shrimp or something!
